MENCK strengthens presence in Asia renewables market with in-region hammer assembly

MENCK, an Acteon company, recently delivered a 175-ton ram weight to their Singapore premises for an MHU3500S hydraulic hammer to be assembled in-region for subsequent delivery for use on a renewables projects in Asia.

This marks the first time that MENCK has completed such a large hammer assembly in Singapore. The MENCK team completed the preparation and assembly of the equipment ahead of schedule within two days. By utilising the flexibility provided by the two bases in Germany and Singapore, and through the strengths of a diverse global supplier base, MENCK was able to mitigate delivery challenges associated with the Covid-19 pandemic and deliver the equipment on time.

This project enhances Acteon’s presence in Singapore and demonstrates the regional capability to assemble, maintain and overhaul hammers and other equipment of all sizes and for all energy market segments.
