The UK Government has approved Taqa’s plans to decommission the topsides of the  Eider platform.

Taqa plan to remove the 11,600 tonne topsides in the period of 2022 to 2028, using a crane lifting vessels before returning them to shore for either reuse, recycling or disposal.
