Opportunity for Seabed Intervention and UXO-campaign Works in Belgian North Sea and Baltic Sea

The Department for International Trade in the British Embassy in Brussels announced that the Elia-group has issued a tender for seabed intervention and UXO-campaign works in Belgian North Sea and Baltic Sea for a 3 year period (2020-23).
This is a joint tendering for Elia Asset, 50 Hertz and NemoLink. It is split into six lots.

The tender procedure is split into two rounds.
The first one is the traditional round with a PQQ incl. contractor information and references. (Please ensure you submit the requested number of references and meet the reference criteria).
Only pre-qualified applicants will then be invited to a second round in which their technical capabilities as well as their compliance with the standard contractual requirements will be assessed.
That second round might lead to the qualification of one of more applicant(s) for a 3 years' period.

PQQ documents can be submitted in English.
Deadline for submitting the PQQ is 22 November. These will have to be submitted on Elia’s dedicated Ariba platform (make sure you request access prior to the deadline)
Information about the lots :
The following 6 lots will need a pool of qualified contractors:
- Lot 1: General seabed interventions for Elia Asset
- Lot 2: General seabed interventions for 50Hertz Transmission
- Lot 3: General seabed interventions for Nemo Link
- Lot 4: UXO identification & related debris removal for Elia Asset
- Lot 5: UXO survey, UXO identification & related UXO and debris removal for 50Hertz Transmission, resulting in sign-off certification according to the “Sprengstoffgesetz“ (SprengG)
- Lot 6: UXO identification & related debris removal for Nemo Link
The Belgian North Sea lots are 1, 3, 4 & 6 and the Baltic Sea lots are 2 & 5.
Please note that the pool of qualified contractor(s) will be common for Lots 1 & 3 as well as for Lots 4 & 6.
The services required are :
- General seabed interventions: anomaly/debris removal, de-burial, rock installation, concrete mattress manipulations / repositioning, boulder survey identification & relocation, mitigation and seabed reinstatement, rock berm removal, installation scour protection, dredging, seabed mobility mitigations and cable protection works.
- UXO survey, UXO identification (including seabed interventions like de-burial) & related UXO and debris removal (if applicable).
The works are to be carried out between 01/02/2020 and 31/01/2023
