Aquatic recently completed a major work package, providing spooling support to Airborne Oil & Gas at their base in Ijmuiden, in The Netherlands.

Aquatic supplied a 200Te Powered Reel Drive System, a 15Te Tensioner System, a 200Te Under Roller System and a Level Winder System.

Aquatic’s equipment and skilled personnel assisted Airborne Oil & Gas at their base for a month, to complete the spooling of Thermoplastic Composite Pipe Flowlines onto 11.4 m diameter reels. These products together with the reels will then be heading down to West Africa for the offshore installation phase.
