Equinor – Consent for Light Well Intervention

Petroleum Safety Authority Norway have given Equinor consent to use Island Wellserver for light well intervention.
Equinor has applied for permission to use the Island Wellserver mobile drilling facility for light well intervention. The consent concerns an extension to an existing light well intervention consent and a new work operation using a coil hose.
The activity is scheduled to begin in September 2019 and will last until 31 March 2020.
Island Wellserver was built in 2008 at the Aker Langsten yard. It is registered in Norway and classified by DNV GL.
Island Wellserver received Acknowledgement of Compliance (AoC) from the PSA in April 2009.
