Aker BP - Consent to Search Drilling in the North Sea

Petroleum Safety Authority Norway have given Aker BP consent to search drilling in block 25/2 in the North Sea.

Aker BP has received consent to drill search well 25 / 2-20 in the North Sea. The well belongs to production license 442, where Aker BP is the operator.

Aker BP has given the well the name "Liatårnet".

Well 25 / 2-20 should be drilled in the so-called Noaka area. Noaka stands for "North of Alvheim, Krafla, Askja", and is a collection of finds east of Frigg in the central part of the North Sea.

The geographical coordinates of the well are:

59 ° 52 '27.05 "North

02 ° 27 '29.23' Aust

The sea depths of the city are 110 meters.

Boringa starts at the earliest on 26 June 2019 and is estimated to be for a minimum of 12 days.

Well 25 / 2-20 will be drilled with the mobile drilling facility Deepsea Stavanger .

Deepsea Stavanger is a semi-submersible mobile drilling facility of the type GVA 7500, owned and operated by Odfjell Drilling.

Deepsea Stavanger received a question of compliance (AoC) from the PSA in 2017.
