The subsea cable industry sector has seen significant growth in recent years as the offshore energy industry evolves and brings opportunity and technical challenge to the cable community.

Offshore wind projects have increased in scale and are being developed in more extreme environments where deeper water, seabed conditions and weather present many challenges. Marine power projects bring other issues to deal with such as strong tidal currents and small operating windows for installation and intervention.

This conference aims to bring the subsea cable community together to discuss the market opportunity, project developments and technological challenges for the industry, including failure analysis and repair of subsea cables.
