Consent for Use of Maersk Invincible in 2018-2019

Petroleum Safety Authority Norway have given Aker BP ASA consent to use the Maersk Invincible mobile drilling facility on the Valhall Flank North (VFN) and Valhall Flank South (VFS) fields.

The consent applies to the use of Maersk Invincible for production drilling, well operations and as a flotel at VFN and VFS.

The drilling operations will begin in October 2018.

Maersk Invincible is a jack-up drilling facility owned by Maersk Drilling, Denmark. It was delivered by the Daewoo yard in South Korea in 2016, is classified by DNV GL and registered in Singapore.

Maersk Invincible received an Acknowledgement of Compliance (AoC) from the PSA in April 2017.
