Balltec Secures Contract Award from Intermoor for its MoorLOK Subsea Mooring Connectors

Balltec has recently secured a contract from Intermoor Inc., based in Houston, USA, for the supply of 9 off of its MoorLOK subsea mooring connectors for a project off the coast of West Africa. The connectors, rated to an MBL of 800 Metric Tonnes, are due to be delivered in September with installation scheduled for completion before the end of 2018. Intermoor placed the contract with Balltec based on past experience and the ‘fast track’ delivery schedule requirements. Balltec’s MoorLOK connector has an extensive track record having been used on numerous projects around the world.
