Dvalin Template Load Out

The Dvalin template was loaded out from Egersund on 17th April 2018. The load out kicks off a series of Dvalin marine operations planned for the next couple of weeks.
The 280 ton template was lifted from the Aker Solution yard quayside onto the TechnipFMC offshore construction vessel Deep Explorer. The vessel sat course for the Dvalin field after performing a trial lift, simulating the offshore installation.
The template will be in transit for the next one and a half days, with an estimated time of arrival on the Dvalin field 260 km north-west of Kristiansund on Thursday.
The template load out operation went according to plan and is the direct result of good planning and cooperation between DEA and the involved contractors. The Dvalin project is on time, budget and one step closer to first gas and production in 2020.
