Consent to Use Haven at Johan Sverdrup

The Petroleum Safety Authority in Norway have given Statoil consent to use the Haven mobile accommodation facility on the Johan Sverdrup field.

The Johan Sverdrup field in the North Sea is in development, with Statoil as the operator.

They have now given Statoil consent to use the Haven mobile facility for living quarters in connection with the development. The consent applies to the period June 2018 to December 2019.

Haven is a jack-up accommodation facility owned by Jacktel AS and operated by OSM Offshore AS. The facility was built in Indonesia in 2010/2011, is registered in Cyprus and classified by DNV. Haven was issued with an Acknowledgement of Compliance (AOC) by the PSA in July 2011.
