M² Subsea Secures Multi-Million Dollar Contract with TransCanada

Tuesday 13 February 2018

M² Subsea has secured a multi-million dollar contract with TransCanada to carry out pipeline-span support on the company’s pipeline installation for the Sur de Texas-Tuxpan gas project in the Gulf of Mexico.

The scope of work will see M² Subsea install grout supports along the southern leg of the pipeline to prevent stress during installation and hydrostatic testing.

M² Subsea will manage the project working closely with local partner, Mexican-based Frontera Resources, utilising the Mexican flagged multi-purpose support vessel (MPSV) Tehuana.

The company’s Houston office will be responsible for delivering the workscope with support from the UK team and local partners in Mexico.
