Benthic Secures Geotechnical Contract Offshore Mozambique

Benthic, a global geosciences company, has been awarded a geotechnical contract by a wholly owned subsidiary of Anadarko Petroleum Corporation. The work scope includes:
geotechnical survey operations off the coast of Mozambique in Tungué Bay (Palma district) and surrounding areas to obtain data for maritime navigation, sub-surface characterization, hazard identification, and development of seabed mechanical properties. This shall include campaigns for the acquisition, processing, interpretation/testing, quality verification and reporting of geotechnical survey data in offshore Mozambique.
Operations are set to commence offshore in Q1 2018.
