Consent to Use Askepott at Oseberg

Statoil has received consent to use the Askepott mobile drilling facility to perform well activities at Oseberg Vestflanken 2.
The consent given covers drilling, sidetrack drilling, plugging and well interventions at Oseberg Vestflanken 2.
Drilling is scheduled to begin in October/November 2017. The consent applies until November 2025.
Askepott is a jack-up drilling facility of the Cat J type. It is owned by production licence 053 (Oseberg), for which Statoil is the operator. The facility's drilling contractor is KCA Deutag Drilling Norge.
Askepott was built by Samsung in South Korea in 2017, is registered in Norway and classified by DNV GL.
