High voltage engineering specialist, EDS HV Management, (a subsidiary of the EDS HV Group) has signed a Framework Agreement with the world’s largest offshore wind developer Ørsted, to provide SAP Services across their range of UK Wind Farms.

Ørsted is the world’s largest offshore wind developer employing 5,800 people worldwide, including over 900 in the UK. Previously known as DONG Energy, the company recently changed its name following the profound strategic transformation of its business from black to green energy and the recent divestment of their upstream oil and gas business.

The 24-month contract will see EDS HV Management provide highly skilled electrical personnel to Ørsted to support High Voltage operations across their UK wind farms including Gunfleet Sands, Walney 1 & 2 and Burbo Bank.

Ryan Calvert, Operations Director at EDS HV Group said:

“It is fantastic to be able to formalise the relationship that Ørsted and EDS have been building. Over the past 18 months we have been very proud of the excellent performance of our engineers across Ørsted’s wind farms, demonstrating our high levels of competence and professionalism. We are proud to have secured this framework agreement and very much look forward to accompanying Ørsted on their journey as they continue to transform their business.”
