Consent to Use Songa Endurance

Statoil Petroleum AS (Statoil) has received consent to use the Songa Endurance mobile drilling facility for drilling and completion on the Troll field.
Drilling is scheduled to begin in mid-October 2017.
The operation is expected to last for around 84 days.
Songa Endurance is a semi-submersible drilling facility. The facility received Acknowledgement of Compliance (AoC) from the PSA on 17 December 2015.
The Troll field is located around 65 kilometres west of Kollsnes in Hordaland County and is the largest gas discovery made in the North Sea.
We have now granted consent to use Songa Endurance on the Troll field in accordance with Statoil's application.
