Consent for Exploration Drilling in the Norwegian Sea

Wintershall Norge AS (Wintershall) is the operator for production licence 894 in the Norwegian Sea. We have given the company consent to drill exploration well 6604/5 in a prospect named Balderbrå.
Drilling is planned to begin by 1 October 2017, and will last 36 days, depending on whether a discovery is made.
The well's geographical coordinates will be:
66° 35' 37.43" N
04° 32' 56.54" E
Water depth at the site is around 1220 metres.
The well is to be drilled by West Phoenix, a semi-submersible drilling facility of the Moss Maritim CS50 type, operated by North Atlantic Drilling.
West Phoenix was issued with an Acknowledgement of Compliance (AOC) by the PSA in June 2008.
