Consent for Modifications at Sleipner

Monday 23 January 2017

Utgard is an oil and condensate field situated on the boundary between the Norwegian and UK sectors of the North Sea. The largest section of the field is in block 15/8 on the Norwegian shelf, around 21 kilometres from Sleipner.

Utgard will be developed using a subsea well template. The wellstream will be piped to Sleipner for processing. Production on the field is scheduled to start in Q4 2019.

The PSA has given Statoil consent to make the necessary modifications to the Sleipner A and T facilities in order to receive and process the wellstream from Utgard.
