Update on Acquisition

RockRose Energy plc ("RockRose" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has now signed an agreement with Maersk Oil North Sea UK Ltd ("Maersk") to acquire its non-operated interests in the Wytch Farm (7.43%), Scott (5.16%)and Telford (2.36%) fields.
The agreement is conditional upon the usualregulatory permissions fromthe Oiland GasAuthority ("OGA") and certain third party consents.
The Company shares willremain suspended as thetransaction constitutesareversetakeover.
Further announcements will be made in due course. At the current time the Company expects to seek re-admission when allmaterialconditions to theacquisition have been satisfied.
