Support Contract Awarded by Sea Trucks Group in Argentina

Neptune is pleased to announce it has been awarded a contract from Sea Trucks Group to provide Integrated Survey, ROV and Stabilisation Services to support the Enap Sipetrol Argentina (acting in its capacity of Representative of the Unión Transitoria de Empresas Magallanes) pipelay construction for its PIAM Project in the Magallanes Field, offshore Argentina.

The scope of work covers installation of three pipelines of various sizes ranging from 6 to 14 inch, with one shore approach, as well as the installation of tie-in spools and risers. It also includes abandonment of two existing lines and recovery of flexibles. Water depths in the field are up to 70 m.

To support the scope, Neptune will provide Survey Services onboard both the Sea Trucks Jascon 34 and the Survey Support Vessel, the Far Scout. Neptune’s Light Work-Class Comanche ROV will provide ROV support during construction and dive support operations. Neptune will also provide bespoke concrete mattresses for pipeline crossing and protection.

Mobilisation of the Jascon 34 was completed in Batam, Indonesia in October 2016 ahead of dry-tow to Argentina where offshore activities are scheduled to commence in December 2016.
