Pipelay/heavy lift specialist Allseas has confirmed that it recently acquired Volstad Shipping's newbuild construction vessel, Volstad Oceanic.

Oceanic will be used as a support vessel for survey work, structure and protection structure installation and in support of the massive heavy lift vessel Pioneering Spirit for preparatory work for platform removals/installations.
