Altus Secures Maersk Award

Altus Intervention has secured a deal to provide well intervention services for Danish operator Maersk Oil in the UK North Sea.
The Stavanger-based contractor will deliver slickline services, coiled tubing services, well surveillance, ballistic and wireline tractor services to support Maersk’s operations in the central North Sea, as well as planned well abandonment campaigns, under the five-year contract.
No value was disclosed for the deal, which comes on the heels of a similar pact for Altus with Aker BP on the Alvheim field off Norway.
