Tailwind has announced the successful completion of the Orlando 3/03b-13Y workover and restart of production from the Orlando field.

The Orlando workover was safely carried out with Petrofac as project manager and well operator using the Island Drilling Company AS Island Innovator Rig with support from the host platform operator CNR International (U.K.) Limited. After completing workover operations, the well was handed back to the host Ninian Central Platform on 12th August and following commissioning of new equipment and a clean-up flow period the well is currently producing at rates in excess of 5,000 bbls oil per day. The workover will ensure delivery of Orlando reserves and economic value and furthermore demonstrates Tailwind’s commitment to maximising economic recovery from the field since acquiring Decipher Energy Limited in 2021. Tailwind holds a 100% interest in the Orlando field.
