Dril-Quip Lands $40m Indonesia Deal

Houston-based equipment maker Dril-Quip has landed a deal with Kangean Energy Indonesia - a contractor for Indonesian upstream regulator SKK Migas - to supply subsea drilling and production equipment to projects off Indonesia.

Under the agreement, Dril-Quip will provide subsea wellhead systems, subsea tree systems, subsea control systems and other equipment to SKK's Terang Sirasun Batur (TSB) gas fields project.

The value of the deal is $40 million.

Dril-Quip supplied the subsea trees for phase one of the Terang project, while Proserv supplied the controls system for this phase.
