Swan Hunter have successfully completed operations in China for client Aker Solutions.

Swan Hunter were awarded two contracts for the project, namely for supply of a 2000Te carousel, and for supply of equipment operating technicians and field engineers for transpooling operations of the Aker Solutions supplied umbilicals between the Aker Connector and COOEC HYSY 286 installation vessels.

This project marks the first occasion Swan Hunter have provided equipment and personnel in the Asia-Pacific region, which presented additional logistical challenges due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, however with strict adherence to client and company policies the project was completed successfully.

This project also marked the start of a busy year ahead for Swan Hunter, with current equipment operations now also ongoing in Norway, UK, and the USA.
